Home Owner Associations (HOAs) are common throughout the United States and exist to look after a variety of aspects for the entire community including but not limited to landscaping, security, maintenance and overall well-being. Every owner (or collective of owners, where several individuals jointly own a home) is a member of the association – in the case of Sandy Ridge there are 70 owner members. From these owners we elect a Board of Directors who is also responsible as the Architectural Control Committee and Fines Appeal Committee with defined roles in our governing documents.
The association employs several outside contractors to work within guidelines set by the Board of Directors to do various tasks around our community, which includes gate maintenance, lawn care and snow removal. The contracts are reviewed periodically and may be changed as deemed appropriate for performance or other concerns. Information about those contracts may be found on this site.
We ask all HOA members to support your HOA and help us maintain and improve Sandy Ridge as an excellent community both to live in, and to visit.
